Drop It Like It’s Hot

Hello everyone.  Thanks for another great week of conversations.  I am once again reminding everyone that in an effort to have an open space that Womanist Musings is open for guest posting and or cross posting.  Simply hit me up by e-mail and we can work something out.

I am still looking for contributions for this months Tell It WOC Speak and Ally blog carnival.  If you have written a post from an ally perspective that critically discusses race and the isms or are a WOC please submit your articles here.  We all need to work together if we are going to raise awareness.

On a finally note of official business, I am considering starting two more blogs.  Their focus will be 101 issues involving trans and anti-racist critical thought.  Often times we are bogged down in conversations having to explain the most basic things because people have not done their due diligence to learn. It is my hope that with these two blogs we can just point people in the right direction and continue on with our conversations.  They should ideally look something like feminism 101.  As I already have a busy schedule and Mayhem and Destruction seem intent on destroying my tampons and licking each other crazy, I cannot possibly hope to complete this undertaking by myself.  If this idea sound interesting to you, please shoot me an e-mail and we can discuss it.

Okay here we are at last.  Below you will find a list of the post that really caught my attention this week.  Please show these bloggers some love and check them out.  As always this is an open thread so when you all through don’t forget to drop it like it’s hot and leave your link behind in the comment section.
